Korean broadband service provider KT announced on October 8 a memorandum of understanding signed with Apple Korea to combine Apple products with the WiBro service, Yonhap News of Korea reported. WiBro is a wireless broadband Internet technology developed in Korea, and KT's WiBro service moved into commercialization in mid-2006. KT plans to offer packages bundling MacBook notebook PCs and iPod media players with the WiBro service at reduced prices at the two companies' respective outlets.
